What We've Been Doing

It's been a while since I posted. These are some pictures showing what all we've been doing in the month of May.

Mother's Day- Enjoyed a great lunch at Red Lobster!
My Mom
Caleb finally has a new swing set at home. My Dad and Jim built this which took them 2 full days to do. We are so grateful to have it!

Our neighbor Sydney checking out the glider swing with Caleb

Caleb had his very first trip to Lake Winnie! Jim's parents were in town last weekend so we decided on Lake Winnie for something to do while they were here. Caleb loved the swings and really loved the Train of course. We will be going back there this year! I remember very well going to Lake Winnie as a kid. Crazy that a lot of the same rides are still going today. I know they were old when I was small. You would think one day they are going to fall apart!!

I remember riding the Ladybugs as a child. They still look the same! It's fun for me to see my child enjoying the same things I did.

And of course the Train ride!! I believe Caleb was the most thrilled about riding this.

Waving goodbye to us.

Going down the huge slide with "Papa".
On Sunday we all went to ride the Incline up Lookout Mtn. Jim and his parents had never been. I can't even remember the last time I was on it. I have to say it is a little scary once it reaches the top. It's just a feeling of no control and the thought of it breaking and we go flying down. :)
Of course Caleb just thought of it as a Train so he loved it!

On the way up! Looks like there are no windows in this picture.
I had to take a picture of what Caleb likes to do with his toys. It can be his bike, trains, or shopping carts...he just wants to "crash" them. He stacks things up on top of each other like this. He was very proud when I asked him to stand by this so I could get a picture. :)

So that is what has been happening in our life this month. School is now over for the summer and we are going to relax and enjoy it...hopefully by a pool somewhere! :)
